Head of Uzbekistan’s Social Protection Agency Praises Inclusive Workplace at ADM Jizzakh
ADM Jizzakh continues to promote inclusion in the workplace and create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Recently, Mansurbek Ollayorov, Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Advisor to the President, visited the facility. During the visit, he reviewed how workplaces for employees with disabilities are organized across the production shops and spoke directly with the company’s employees.
ADM Jizzakh currently employs 18 people with disabilities, including employees with visual impairments and musculoskeletal disabilities. They work across nine departments, from facility services to production shops, where they are involved in assembly, quality control, and even welding.
The assembly shop employs the largest number of people with disabilities. Eight employees with visual impairments, including blind employees, produce up to 35 types of components every day. They perform simple, repetitive tasks, such as assembling fasteners for car bodies. Their workstations are equipped with all the necessary equipment, as well as sensors with audible alerts, helping ensure safe and comfortable working conditions.
Mansurbek Ollayorov praised ADM Jizzakh’s approach and commitment to creating an inclusive work environment, noting that the company’s experience deserves to be adopted by other industrial enterprises across the country.
“From the very beginning of ADM Jizzakh’s operations, we have focused on innovation not only in production but also in our approach to people management. Creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities is not simply a matter of corporate social responsibility; it is an integral part of the holding’s corporate culture and sustainable development strategy. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to realize their professional potential, and our responsibility is to create the conditions that make this possible,” said Daniyar Davletiyarov, CEO of ADM Global.
