Kia unveiled the updated K8 and Carnival in Tashkent – pricing was officially announced and key changes were revealed. The brand's two flagship models received a significant redesign, an expanded suite of technologies, and updated trim levels, making them among the most anticipated new models on the Uzbek market.
On November 29, 2025, ADM Global, the official distributor of the Kia brand, held a closed presentation of the updated Kia K8 and Kia Carnival. The event took place in the Renaissance Hall of the Cinema House and brought together partners, clients, and representatives of the automotive industry.
Guests were greeted by a welcome zone, a Star Trajectories-style photo space, the "Auto-aroma" aroma workshop, musical sets by Jazzirama, and a live performance by Sabina Mustaeva. The atmosphere was stylish and premium.
Georgiy Shonia, Deputy Director of the Kia brand in Uzbekistan, addressed the guests and noted:
"The updated K8 represents status, technology, and a new level of comfort, while the updated Carnival offers maximum efficiency and ease of travel for large groups." For Kia, this isn't just the launch of new models; it's a continuation of our mission—to give people more freedom of movement and help them feel confident in any situation."
After the official presentation, visitors were given the opportunity to get a closer look at both models and discuss their technical features with brand representatives.
Review of the updated Kia K8
When looking at the K8 from the outside, the changes to its exterior are immediately noticeable. The front end features a new bumper, which also extends along the familiar grille and visually flows into the hood, creating a more monolithic and sporty look. Improved aerodynamics help reduce drag and improve fuel consumption.
The signature vertical headlights with a horizontal LED backlight line emphasize the brand's new design and improve visibility at night. The wheel shape has also been changed – now they feature black, angular elements, emphasizing the model's dynamic character. The side mirrors now feature turn signal repeaters, increasing the car's visibility.
The rear of the K8 now features taillights with "Star Map" technology, and the trunk lid has additional longitudinal reinforcements. The rear bumper has been refined, removing the exhaust pipes.
The interior features updated decorative inserts and soft ambient lighting. The instrument panel and central display are combined into a single unit with a longitudinal curve for improved readability.
The updated multimedia system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features additional speakers. The center console has been redesigned: a convenient cupholder cover has been added between the seats and a new, dual-door central storage compartment with heating and UV sterilization.
The driving mode selector on the steering wheel is now located directly in front of the driver, making it simpler and more intuitive. The power steering column with memory makes it easy to enter and exit the vehicle, and also facilitates operation by multiple drivers.
