Two new models in one evening: Kia unveiled the updated Sportage and Carens in Uzbekistan.

On January 10, 2026, the updated Kia Sportage and Kia Carens models were presented in Tashkent. Organized by ADM Group, the official distributor of the Kia brand in Uzbekistan, the event showcased key design, equipment, and technical changes, and announced official prices for the Uzbek market.

The presentation featured a dynamic format. Interactive zones, a Bullet Time photo zone, and musical accompaniment created a lively, modern atmosphere. Following the host's welcome remarks and the intro video on the main screen, Kia Brand Director Georgy Shonia delivered a speech.

In his speech, he noted the significance of the updated models for the brand and their relevance to customers:

"The Kia Carens and Kia Sportage are models that have already earned the trust and love of thousands of families and drivers. With their new look, they have become even more expressive, technologically advanced, and sophisticated, while retaining the key reasons people choose them: comfort, reliability, and confidence with every kilometer."

Then, brand specialists detailed the changes to the design, equipment, and technical specifications of the vehicles. The presentation was broadcast live on the main screen.

Kia Sportage: A Modern Crossover with Technological Features

The updated Kia Sportage is designed in accordance with the Opposites United design philosophy and features a refreshed exterior. Signature "Star Map" lighting, a new 3D grille, vertical LED headlights, and dynamic welcome lighting create a modern and recognizable look.

The key element of the interior is a panoramic curved display, combining a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch multimedia system. Thoughtful ergonomics, modern trim materials, contour lighting, and improved sound insulation enhance the overall level of comfort.

New functional solutions include:

• Rearview mirrors with an automatic tilt function when reversing, simplifying the checking of parking lanes;
• Air conditioning evaporator purge function, preventing the formation of unpleasant odors;
• A head-up display (HUD), available in the X-Line trim level.

For the Uzbek market, the Kia Sportage is offered with 2.0 MPI and 2.5 GDI gasoline engines, combined with automatic transmissions. The model is equipped with an expanded suite of active safety and driver assistance systems (ADAS), including intelligent cruise control and collision avoidance assist.

The updated Kia Sportage starts at 454,900,000 soums.

Kia Carens: A Functional Format for Everyday Use

The updated Kia Carens is aimed at customers who value functionality, space, and convenience in everyday use. The model has a redesigned exterior with vertical LED headlights in a "Star Map" concept, a full-width light strip, and updated bumper designs.

The interior features a minimalist design with an emphasis on comfort. A panoramic display integrates the instrument panel and a 12.3" multimedia screen. Multicolor ambient lighting with a choice of 64 shades and a multimedia system with an Uzbek-language interface create a modern user experience.

The equipment list includes new options for the model:

• electrically adjustable driver's seat;
• advanced ADAS driver assistance systems;
• electric parking brake (EPB).

The powertrain lineup includes a 1.5 MPI gasoline engine with an IVT continuously variable transmission and a 1.5 Turbo-GDI engine producing 160 hp, paired with a 7-speed DCT. Six airbags are standard.

The price of the updated Kia Carens starts at 339,900,000 soums.

The presentation included a ceremonial handover of the keys to the first customers to purchase the updated models. Following the official presentation, guests were able to get a detailed look at the cars, assess their equipment, and receive expert advice.

The presentation of the updated Kia Sportage and Kia Carens emphasized the brand's consistent approach to developing its model range and updating key models available in the Uzbek market.
