"2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition": New car models of the GWM HAVAL brand

From April 25 to April 30, 2024, the grandiose «2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition» and the «2024 GWM Global Conference» were held in Beijing (PRC), where official representatives of the ADM Global group of companies, the official distributor of the HAVAL (GREAT WALL MOTOR) automobile brand in Uzbekistan, participated. As part of these large-scale events, Great Wall Motor (GWM) exhibited cars under the HAVAL, TANK, POER, WEY, ORA brands.

At the “2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition”, Great Wall Motor demonstrated its continuous development and global presence. The event showcased dozens of new and updated cars from the brand's five main lines, including the HAVAL H6 and H9, TANK 700 Hi4-T, WEY 80 Intelligent Edition, ORA 03, etc. The wide range of products and the strong technical characteristics of the cars clearly demonstrated the strength of the brand.

The basic versions of the HAVAL H6 crossover are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 184 horsepower, working in tandem with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. The equipment includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155-based multimedia system with a 14.6-inch screen, a panoramic sunroof, a surround-view system, an audio system with 6 speakers, and a driver's seat with electric adjustments. The full-engine version of the HAVAL H6, along with a 2.0-liter 238-horsepower engine and a 9-speed robotic gearbox, additionally offers adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, electric adjustment of the passenger seat and an electric tailgate, as well as various active driver assistance systems.

For fans of diesel engines, the new HAVAL H9 has received a 2.4T+9AT diesel power unit in addition to the 2.0T+8AT gasoline engine. The maximum power of the gasoline version is 165 kW, and the diesel one is 137 kW. The off-road characteristics have been improved due to the increased climb and descent angles, towing ability, three differential locks and the installation of a second-generation control system. The interior of the new generation HAVAL H9 is designed in a youthful style. There is a three-spoke multi-steering wheel, a 14.6-inch multimedia display, and the climate system is placed under the screen in a new style. The equipment includes engine start-up with a button, remote access via smartphone, panoramic cameras and other modern systems.

TANK 700 Hi4-T - this is an off-road vehicle equipped with a hybrid power unit, which is "innovative for China and rare in the world market". The heart of the powertrain is a turbocharged 3-liter engine, which is complemented by two electric motors and a 9-speed automatic transmission, providing all-wheel drive. The acceleration time to 100 km/h is just 5 seconds, fuel consumption in hybrid mode is 2.97 liters per 100 km, and in the mode of a discharged traction battery - 10.9 liters per 100 km. The TANK 700 Hi4-T has a serious appearance from the outside, and inside an atmosphere of luxury reigns, reflected in the use of expensive finishing materials and attention to the smallest details. The first and second rows of seats (despite their huge dimensions, this is a strictly five-seater car) are equipped with heating, ventilation and massage functions. There is a remote control mounted on the armrest for controlling the rear seats. The climate control is three-zone, and the Harman Kardon acoustic system is equipped with 16 speakers.

POER is the leading brand in the Chinese pickup market. In April 2024, Great Wall Pickup announced that it sold 18,069 pickups worldwide, of which 4,979 units were sold overseas, an increase of 33.6% compared to the same period last year. The share of sales in the Chinese domestic market was almost 50%. It is worth noting that every second pickup sold in China is a pickup from Great Wall Motor (GWM). In April this year, the global sales volume of Great Wall Poer pickups amounted to 14,231 POER units, an increase of 10.5% compared to the same period last year.
