A cooperation agreement was signed between ADM Jizzakh and the First Rubber Engineering Plant

On October 29, 2024, ADM Jizzakh Automobile Plant, part of the ADM Global group of companies, signed an agreement on cooperation with the leading tire manufacturer - First Rubber Plant.

As part of the new partnership, First Rubber Plant will begin supplying tires for the Kia Sonet model, which is manufactured at the ADM Jizzakh full-cycle plant. Tires of two different sizes will be supplied to the plant - 215/60R16 and 195/65R15. The widespread use of these dimensions in modern cars demonstrates the strategic importance of the project.

The cooperation between these companies is aimed at implementing a production localization program, which will reduce dependence on imported components. Supporting local manufacturers not only contributes to the sustainable development of the economy, but also increases the competitiveness of cars manufactured in Uzbekistan.

ADM Jizzakh – In 2021, it was the first private automobile plant in Uzbekistan to start its operations with large-scale assembly (SKD) of cars of brands such as Kia, Lada and Renault. Later, the plant's portfolio was replenished with the Chery and Haval brands. In March 2024, a complete production cycle (CKD) plant was launched, and the first car with the maximum level of localization was the Kia Sonet model. The production capacity of the full-cycle plant is 100,000 cars per year. ADM Jizzakh is located on an area of ​​75 hectares, where not only production facilities are located, but also a cluster of suppliers of automotive components. Localization of production covers a wide range of parts, such as seats, pressed panels, front and rear bumpers, electronic and electrical components, as well as plastic elements of the interior and exterior. At the first stage, the level of localization will be 30%, with a plan to increase it to 40-45% in the future. ADM Jizzakh has an ISO 9001 certificate. The plant actively cooperates with foreign partners. Regular deliveries of machine sets and components are carried out from Korea, China, India, Russia and other countries, which in turn ensures the stability and flexibility of production processes. ADM Jizzakh seeks to support local manufacturers of automotive components not only by developing its own production, but also by contributing to localization and increasing competitiveness.

“First Rubber Products Plant” LLC was established in 2014 in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 4, 2014 PQ-2269-n "On measures to organize the construction of a rubber products plant in the territory of the “«» free economic zone”". The plant is the only manufacturer of automobile and agricultural tires in Central Asia. The plant's assortment also includes high-quality conveyor belts. All products meet international standards and are certified under the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, IATF 16949:2016 quality system, and also has EC117 and EC-30 certificates. The plant actively supports the development of local production and exports its products outside Uzbekistan. Since July 2018, the plant has been producing 3 million car tires in 21 different sizes, 200,000 agricultural tires in 2 different sizes, and 100,000 linear meters of conveyor belts, including 30 different types of rubber-fabric and rubber-cord materials.
