The sale of 2,125 Kia brand cars in December 2024 confirmed the high demand of the brand among consumers. The Sonet crossover emerged as the undisputed leader, its share of the total number of cars sold was 62.92 percent, or 1,337 units. The top five were occupied by the Sportage (190 units), Sorento (185 units), K5 (155 units), Seltos (113 units).

Analysis of the composition of Kia buyers in December shows that the brand's cars remain popular among men (68 percent) among the total number of buyers. In turn, 32 percent of cars were purchased by women. The age distribution shows that the greatest interest in Kia cars is among buyers aged 30-39 (31.3 percent), followed by the 40-49 age group (27.6 percent) and the 50-59 age group (19.3 percent). Young people aged 18-29 accounted for 9.7% of total buyers, while the share of buyers aged 60-69 was 10.9%, and the share of buyers over 70 was 1.1%.

In 2024, Kia sold 19,390 cars, strengthening its position in the market due to the reliability, attractive design and versatility of its models.

During the year, 7,739 people became owners of the Sonet, which accounted for 40 percent of all Kia cars sold.

In second place is the legendary Kia Sportage, which combines a spacious interior, modern design and advanced technologies. This car was chosen by 3,314 buyers (17 percent).

The Kia K5 business-class luxury sedan confidently took third place. This car attracted 3,070 people (16 percent) due to its sporty design and premium comfort.

The fourth place was taken by the Kia Sorento, which is considered a family crossover. Its spacious interior, maneuverability and modern equipment were the reasons why 2,022 buyers (10 percent) chose it.

The compact and powerful Kia Seltos completes the top five. This crossover is ideal for city trips and an active lifestyle. During the year, 1,374 units of this model were sold (7 percent).

In 2024, Kia cars found their owners in all regions of Uzbekistan, demonstrating high interest in the brand throughout the country. The largest number of cars was sold in the capital. In Tashkent, 7,157 Kia cars were sold, accounting for 37 percent of total sales. In second place was Samarkand region, where 1,815 cars (9 percent) were sold. In third place was Bukhara region with 1,498 cars sold (8 percent). Kashkadarya region took fourth place, selling 1,377 cars (7 percent). Fergana region completed the top five with 1,022 cars sold (5 percent).

In the last month of the year, 590 crossovers of the HAVAL brand (Great Wall Motor) were sold. The M6 became the bestseller, with 347 of its cars finding new owners, accounting for 58.8 percent of the total sales volume in December. The second place in popularity was taken by the JOLION model with 192 crossovers, which corresponds to a 32.5 percent share. The third place was taken by the H6, with sales of 30 cars or 5.1 percent. The list is completed by the DARGO model, which was chosen by 21 buyers (3.6 percent).

In December, the sales geography demonstrated stable demand in all regions. The Bukhara region led in terms of the share of cars sold, accounting for 22.88 percent of the total volume. The city of Tashkent, which took second place, showed a result of 19.49 percent. Samarkand region (12.03 percent) and Navoi region (11.53 percent) also expressed high interest in the brand. Surkhandarya region completed the top five with a share of 10.17 percent, while other regions together accounted for 23.9 percent.

According to demographic data, in December, 80.2 percent of buyers were men and 19.8 percent were women. Cars were mainly chosen by buyers over 35 years old (79.6 percent), while young people under 35 accounted for 20.4 percent.

Over the year, the total sales volume of HAVAL cars reached 3,316 units. At the end of the year, the M6 model again emerged as the leader, accounting for 58.7 percent of the annual volume, as 1,945 of its units found their owners. The second place was taken by the JOLION model with 853 crossovers sold (25.7 percent). The third place was taken by the H6 with 358 cars (10.8 percent). The list of models was completed by DARGO, chosen by 157 buyers (4.7 percent). It is worth noting that 3 of the GWM WINGLE 7 pickups, which officially appeared on the Uzbek automobile market in the fall of 2024, were sold.

The city of Tashkent became the absolute sales leader by the end of the year, providing 28.02 percent of the total sales volume. Bukhara region showed a 20.05 percent figure, while Samarkand region completed the top three, recording a 13.66 percent result. Surkhandarya region confirmed a stable interest in the brand with 13.63 percent and Andijan region with 9.8 percent, while the remaining regions totaled 14.8 percent.

Among individuals, 76.4 percent of buyers during the year were men, and 23.6 percent were women. Buyers over 35 years old continued to dominate, occupying a 79.5 percent share, while young people under 35 showed a 20.5 percent figure.
