July 26, 2024, Tashkent - ADM Global Group of Companies, the official distributor of Kia in Uzbekistan, announces the start of sales of the updated Kia K5 business sedan in the Uzbek market.

The Kia K5 is one of the brand's global bestsellers, and in many markets it is a leader in its business sedan segment. At one time, the K5's predecessor, the Optima, marked the beginning of Kia's rebirth as a brand with a bright and attractive design. The modern K5 is built on the basis of the third-generation N3 platform, which has significant structural improvements that provide a high level of protection and enjoyable dynamics. The N3 platform has become a new standard for Kia, determining the location of the steering, chassis elements, transmission and cabin floor, allowing to make the cabin more spacious, improve the aerodynamic properties of the car, its precise handling, stability and safety.

Such an excellent set of qualities has been repeatedly noted by experts and buyers. The Kia K5 has received numerous awards for its design and safety, and has received recognition according to the results of voting by experts and ordinary motorists. For the first time, 19-inch wheels are offered for the updated Kia K5.

The new engines, which belong to the latest high-efficiency line of Kia Smartstream, have become significantly more powerful. They are equipped with a system of continuous adjustment of the phase and lift of the intake and exhaust valves Dual CVVT, direct fuel injection and turbocharging. The 1.5T engine (1497cc) develops 170 horsepower and its maximum torque is 253 Nm in the range of 1500-4000 rpm. This engine is combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission 7-DCT. The 2.0T engine (1975cc) develops 240 horsepower and its maximum torque is 353 Nm in the range of 1500-4000 rpm. The 2.0T engine works in tandem with an eight-speed automatic hydromechanical transmission.

The interior has also received a number of impressive updates. The instrument panel based on a 12.3-inch display is integrated with the central display of the same size, and the control of the air conditioning and ventilation system has been moved to a separate touch panel. The transmission is electronically controlled (Shift-by-Wire) and is operated using a rotary knob on the center console.

The premium options available for the updated K5 include front seat ventilation, a JBL Premium Audio audio system, a panoramic roof (or panoramic sunroof), a set of high-tech safety and driver assistance systems.
