Sales results of Kia, CHERY and HAVAL in Uzbekistan as of July 2024

Kia: Sales in July 2024 increased by 43.5% compared to the previous month

The total number of Kia brand cars sold in July 2024 was 2,160 units.
Sonet – is the absolute leader in sales in July 2024! The rapidly gaining popularity of the new model sold 1,260 units in July, which accounted for 58.3 percent of Kia's total sales.
In July, the Sportage took second place in terms of sales, accounting for 11.7 percent of Kia's total sales, or 252 units.
The top three is completed by the Sorento. Last July, 216 units were sold (10 percent), which indicates the growing popularity of this model.
Next in line are the K5 business-class sedan, which sold 201 units (9.3 percent); Seltos crossover – 89 units (4.1 percent); Bongo light truck – 82 units (3.8 percent) and other Kia models (Carens – 20 units, K8 – 16 units, Cerato – 13 units, Carnival – 8 units, K9 – 3 units) took the lead.
If we look at the distribution of sales in Uzbekistan by region, Tashkent is undoubtedly the leader. Its share accounts for 35.19 percent of all sales. After Tashkent, the regions are as follows:
- Samarkand region – 10.93 percent;
- Kashkadarya region – 6.71 percent;
- Tashkent region – 6.67 percent;
- Bukhara region – 6.34 percent;
- Navoi region – 5.51 percent;
- Surkhandarya region – 5.23 percent;
- Jizzakh region – 4.49 percent;
- Fergana region – 4.35 percent;
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 3.89 percent;
- Khorezm region – 3.61 percent;
- Andijan region – 3.19 percent;
- Syr Darya region – 2.36 percent;
- Namangan region – 1.53 percent.
In July 2024, among individuals who purchased Kia cars, there were more men - their share was 68.5 percent, while 31.5 percent of cars of this brand were purchased by women.
Young people under 30 years old made up a smaller share of the buyer structure - only 9.9 percent. The bulk of buyers were citizens aged 30 and older - 90.1 percent.
CHERY: the number of cars sold increased by 29.3 percent compared to June of this year
The total number of cars of the CHERY brand sold in July 2024 amounted to 655 units.
As in June of this year, the Tiggo 7 Pro urban crossover retained its leadership in sales among CHERY cars. The number of Tiggo 7 Pro cars sold in July was 292 units, which is 45percent of all CHERY cars sold.
Arrizo 6 Pro took second place with 284 units sold (43 percent of total sales).
Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro Max models sold a total of 79 units, which is 12 percent of total sales.
Tashkent is the leader in sales by region - 37.4 percent. After Tashkent, the regions are as follows:
- Bukhara region - 13.1percent;
- Kashkadarya region - 7.8percent;
- Samarkand region - 7.2;
- Navoi region - 6.3;
- Khorezm region - 5.5;
- Namangan region - 5.0;
- Fergana region - 4.9;
- Surkhandarya region - 4.4 percent;
- Andijan region – 3.8 percent;
- Jizzakh region – 3.4 percent;
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1.2 percent.
According to the calculations, the gender composition of buyers of CHERY cars among individuals in July 2024 was as follows: men – 69.3 percent, women – 30.7percent.
At the same time, the share of individuals under 30 years of age among CHERY car buyers was 13.9percent, while the share of buyers aged 30 and older was significantly higher, 86.1percent.
HAVAL: the total number of cars sold in July was 146
In July 2024, the leader and best-selling model among HAVAL models was M6. 103 units of this crossover were sold, which accounts for 70.5 percent of all cars sold by this brand.
The second place was taken by the H6 model with 25 units sold, which accounts for 17.1 percent of the total sales.
The top three is completed by the new Dargo off-road crossover, which was presented on June 29, and was purchased by 16 car enthusiasts, and its sales volume accounts for 11 of all sales.
The Jolion model was delivered to 2 car owners. At the same time, the number of orders for the updated crossover with a sporty body (after the facelift) amounted to 18 units in July.
