The NEV era in Uzbekistan: ADM begins construction of a new CKD plant
On December 26, 2025, the ADM Jizzakh plant, part of the ADM Group, launched construction of a new complete knock-down (CKD) plant—a facility where New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), including electric and hybrid models, will be assembled in the coming years. The symbolic laying of the time capsule was more than just a ceremony; it marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of Uzbekistan's automotive industry.
The ceremony took place on the plant's premises and was timed to coincide with the start of construction of the new CKD plant. It will house the full production cycle (welding, painting, and assembly) of NEV vehicles from international brands, increasing localization, implementing modern technological processes, and strengthening ADM Jizzakh's position as one of the country's key automotive hubs.
The ceremony was attended by ADM Group management, company representatives, as well as guests and project partners. Daniyar Davletiyarov, CEO of ADM, delivered a welcoming speech:
"The construction of the new ADM Jizzakh CKD plant is an important step in the development of our production and the entire automotive industry in the country. Together with our Chinese partners, we are investing in modern technologies, expanding local assembly, and developing next-generation vehicles—electric and hybrid vehicles." This project reflects our long-term vision and confidence in the potential of the Uzbek automotive market."
The new CKD plant will become part of ADM's production cluster and will be equipped with modern equipment for the complete knock-down assembly of electric vehicles. The project will create additional jobs, increase automation, and ensure product compliance with international quality standards.
ADM is gradually developing automotive production in Uzbekistan, focusing on localization, modern technologies, and its own industrial base. The laying of the time capsule served as a reminder that the plant is operating not only for today, but for the future of the entire industry.
